Switching your traditional bulbs to low energy bulbs means that you can save energy and do your bit for the environment. Compared to ordinary light bulbs, our energy light bulbs are:

• Just as bright but use up to 80% less electricity
• Longlife - lasting around 8-10 time longer
• Easy to install as they have bayonet fittings.

You need to be over 70 years of age or in receipt of one of the following:

Qualifying benefits or credits:
  • Council Tax Benefit
  • Housing Benefit
  • Income Support
  • Income-based Job Seeker's Allowance
  • Attendance Allowance
  • Disability Living Allowance
  • Disablement Pension which includes constant attendance allowance
  • War Disablement Pension which includes either a mobility supplement or constant attendance allowance
  • State Pension Credit
  • Child Tax Credit where the relevant income is £15,592 or less
  • Working Tax Credit where the relevant income is £15,592 or less
• If you are eligible to receive free light bulbs then you can also apply to receive free loft and cavity wall insulation.
